The Tecumseh Public Schools Board of Education has moved one step closer to finding a full-time Superintendent.

At their most recent regular meeting, the board saw the data collected from surveys of over 200 community members; including staff, teachers, and parents.

TPS Board President Tim Simpson told WLEN News what he learned from the surveys…

Simpson talked about the process that the board has used in their search for a Superintendent; and also looked ahead…

According to Simpson, the board seems to be on-track…

The Board also decided to vote on a change in terminology…specifically the terms ‘facilitator’ and ‘learner.’

The changes switch ‘facilitator’ back to ‘teacher’ and ‘learner’ back to ‘student.’

After the board meeting, WLEN News talked to TPS Interim Superintendent Greg Lewis about the decision…

Lewis gave some personal thoughts on the changes…
