On Friday, July 12th, A Nationwide Vigil to End Human Detention Camps called “Lights for Liberty” brought thousands of Americans to detention camps across the country, into the streets and into their own front yards, to protest the inhumane conditions faced by refugees.
The observation in Lenawee County was held at the Old County Courthouse. Participants listened to speeches and lit candles in a silent vigil for all those held in US detention camps.
