Brooklyn, Michigan- On July 1, 2019 OSB Community Bank (OSB) is becoming Bank Michigan and will officially open its doors under its new name, continuing to serve Jackson, Lenawee, and Washtenaw Counties while also expanding its service area throughout Michigan.

“Starting July 1, OSB will be Bank Michigan. This new identity reflects our expanding service area and our commitment to our state,” said Richard C. Northrup, President and CEO. “It also represents our organization’s innovative and growth-minded spirit as well as our dedication to thinking and acting differently to better serve businesses and individuals.”

Bank Michigan was established in 1907 in Brooklyn, Michigan. “The values on which we were founded and our dedication to being an economic engine for the communities we serve remain the same,” Northrup commented. “When people choose a local bank like Bank Michigan, they are choosing to reinforce the strength of their local economy. The community receives the same benefit as when residents choose to support other local businesses. In return, our customers can expect a better banking experience because we think like a financial partner that is truly invested in their success and that of the community we share.”

Bank Michigan will continue operating its current branch locations.
