Sanitary Sewer Overflow in the City of Hudson; Avoid Contact with Bean Creek

“Cindy Merritt, Environmental Health Supervisor for the Lenawee County Health Department has issued the following Health Advisory for Lenawee County:

Lenawee County residents and visitors are advised to avoid physical contact with the Bean Creek until further notice. This body of water was subject to discharge from the City of Hudson sewage collection and treatment system. This advisory does not apply to public or private drinking water supplies.

This advisory will remain in effect until results from water testing indicate Bean Creek water quality is not impacted from the sewage discharge.
