Emory Schmidt was presented with the Volunteer of the Year Award at the annual ProMedica Philanthropy Awards.
The award is given to those whose unselfish and dedicated service has made a significant difference in the lives of patients, families and community.
Schmidt, an Adrian resident, has been a vital part of the ProMedica family for over 20 years. His commitment to ProMedica is evident with his extensive and diverse volunteer positions over the years, serving on boards and committees across the regions.
One of Emory’s notable additions over the years includes his vision and direction for the Lenawee Health Alliance, becoming a member of ProMedica in 2000. Emory has shared his volunteer talents throughout the Lenawee Community with other organizations as well.
