Spring yard waste collection will begin the week of April 15, 2019 and carry through until April 26, 2019. The City of Adrian will collect yard waste twice throughout the city limits within this time period. Yard waste must be placed at the curb no later than 7:00 AM on April 26, 2019.
All yard waste shall be placed in biodegradable and/ or compostable paper bags and must not weigh more than 50 pounds. Unapproved containers, including plastic bags, will not be picked up for collection. All yard waste deposited at the compost site in anything other than biodegradable and/ or compostable paper bags must be removed from the bag or container.
The Compost Site will open for the season on May 4, 2019. The Compost Site is open on Tuesdays, noon – 7pm, and Saturdays, 8am – 2pm. Please contact Parks & Engineering Services Project Manager, Matthew Tomaszewski,
