Michael Olsaver was recently appointed to the 39th Circuit Court in Lenawee County, and WLEN News got on the phone to ask the new judge a few questions.
Olsaver was asked if he viewed this appointment as something that he has been striving for, or more of a fortunate opportunity…

He also has this message for Lenawee County…
Olsaver’s term expires at noon on January 1st, 2021. If he would like to seek a full six-year term, he would be required to run for reelection in November of 2020.
The appointment was made to fill the remaining term after Judge Margaret Noe stepped down.
