The Valade Gallery at Adrian College is currently featuring a solo exhibition by Aaron Brandt titled “Low Pressure Systems.” A reception is scheduled for Tuesday, January 29th, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. with Brandt speaking at 6 p.m. The exhibit ends on February 1st.
Brandt is best known for his combination of photography, illustration and sculptural pieces. His work focuses on Middle American culture relating to the environmental and social ideas that are active there. This body of work focuses on weather, clouds and the relationship humanity has with the sublime.
Gallery hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with extended hours on Tuesday until 7 p.m.
