
The City of Tecumseh Police Department was dispatched to Kirchhoff Automotive to investigate a bomb threat Friday morning. The threat was discovered written in a bathroom stall indicating a time frame for the explosion.
Police Officers and Facility Management searched the facility, and employees were evacuated safely and sent home. Bomb Dogs were brought in and the threat was determined to be unfounded.
The department was assisted by Raisin Township Police Department, Morenci Police Department, Lenawee County Sheriff’s Department, and the Michigan State Police, Jackson Post. The threat remains under investigation by the Tecumseh Police Department.
