The Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office is once again recognizing October as National Breast Cancer Awareness Month by wearing pink gloves, an initiative that began last year and spear-headed by Corrections Officer Liz Bouts!

During the month of October jail staff, records clerks and others at the Sheriff’s Office will wear pink gloves to help raise awareness and honor those who have been affected by breast cancer. All proceeds from purchasing the pink gloves will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
