Tecumseh Public Schools welcomes Josh McDowell as Principal of Tecumseh North Early Learning Center. He replaces Carl Lewandowski, who transitioned to Early Elementary Principal at Tecumseh Compass Learning Center in June.
McDowell has 12 years of experience in elementary education and administration. He most recently served as the principal of Williams Elementary School in Jonesville, MI.
“I’m very excited to begin my tenure at Tecumseh Public Schools,” McDowell said. “I look forward to having my family be part of this wonderful community, and most of all to work with the young learners and parents at North Early Learning Center.”
McDowell holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Grand Valley State University and a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Eastern Michigan University. He will be available at Tecumseh North Early Learning Center’s Open House on Wednesday, Aug. 29 from 5-7:30 p.m. to meet with learners and families.
