A house fire in the city of Adrian was called in to the Adrian Fire Department during the 11 o’clock hour Wednesday evening. Crews from the city of Adrian, Adrian Township, and Madison Township responded; with the city of Tecumseh and Palmyra Township providing station coverage. The cause of the fire is under investigation. No injuries were reported, and all individuals were able to safely leave the residence. Authorizes say the house appeared to be a total loss once the flames were extinguished.
Due to the house fire, a Bake Sale & Collection Fundraiser for Jessica Putze and family will be held Sunday, May 6 at Adrian Red Lobster from 11am-9pm. Jessica is an employee of Adrian Red Lobster, has a 2 year old son & is also expecting. There will be a collection box for boys clothing size 18 months & toys as well as baby girl items for the new baby. The family lost everything in the fire.
