Bulldog hockey had a pair of big wins over the weekend. Adrian began on Friday night with a win. The nationally-ranked Adrian College men’s hockey team got strong offensive production from its defenseman, and junior goalie Kevin Entmaa made 25 saves, to power the Bulldogs to a 5-2 victory over visiting Lake Forest.

This was followed by another stellar performance on Saturday. Sophomore Dino Balsamo posted a career-high four points to lead all skaters in a 6-1 Northern Collegiate Hockey Association South Division men’s hockey victory over visiting Aurora on Saturday afternoon.

Next for Adrian College: Adrian travels to NCHA foes Milwaukee School of Engineering (Friday, 8:05 p.m. Eastern) and Concordia-Wisconsin (Saturday, 5 p.m. Eastern). Adrian will return home on January 26th for a faceoff with bitter rival and also nationally ranked St. Norbert.
