A single engine plane struck a fence of the Lenawee County Airport after experiencing engine failure, resulting in both occupants sustaining minor injuries.
The pilot is from the Wauseon, Ohio area and the passenger is from the Lyons, Ohio area.
Madison Township Police Chief Michael Shadbolt said in a press release to WLEN News that the crash happened Sunday at approximately 5:45pm, and will be investigated at a later date by the FFA.
There have been no updates as of Tuesday.
