Tom Faulhaber has resigned from his seat on the Adrian City Commission, effective Monday at midnight. At the regular meeting of the Adrian City Commission he cited several reasons for his decision, including business conflicts and frustration with the slow pace of government. Faulhaber also added that “it’s not as much fun for me anymore”.

Faulhaber reflected on his time serving in public office with WLEN News…

Tom Faulhaber was an Adrian City Commissioner from 1985 to ‘89, and again from 2011 until Monday night.

After Faulhaber announced his resignation, a proclamation was read and presented by Mayor Chuck Jacobson. The proclamation praised Faulhaber for his passion for the city of Adrian, his tree-planting initiative, and his drive to tackle blighted areas in the community.

He will not stop serving the city that he loves so dearly, as he will be active on the blight elimination committee and continue planting trees around town.
