A one vehicle accident on Sand Creek Highway in Southwestern Lenawee County on Monday night left over 100 Consumers Energy customers without power. The southbound vehicle went through the ditch, and eventually laid to rest as pictured below…
The driver of the vehicle was removed from the vehicle after a lengthy rescue operation by first responders at the scene. Life Flight was called in and took the woman to a Toledo hospital to treat her injuries. Authorities on scene told WLEN News that the transport was mostly for precautionary reasons, and the extent of the injuries was not made immediately available on Monday night.
The cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
