Madison Township Structure Fire Being Treated as ‘Suspicious’ by Authorities 

A structure fire at 2008 W Carleton Rd. in Madison Township was called in at 10:30pm Tuesday night. The flames were extinguished within an hour. WLEN News was on scene and talked to a part-owner of the home, which has been in their family since the 1930’s. They say that the home has been abandoned for a period of time, and that the electrical and gas services were shut off. Authorities on scene tell WLEN News that due to those circumstances, the cause of the fire is being treated as suspicious. It is currently under investigation.

Departments responding include: Madison, Adrian City, Palmyra Twp, Cambridge Twp, and Adrian Twp Fire Departments.
