Several months ago, the Region of Irish Hills Narcotics Office (RHINO) initiated an investigation into suspects who have been trafficking cocaine in the Adrian area. On 05-15-18, RHINO officers executed two simultaneous search warrants in the 1400 block of W. Cadmus Road and the 400 block of State Street.
Officers seized a large amount of cocaine, a sizeable amount of marijuana, one loaded stolen handgun, two vehicles and a large amount of cash. One suspect was lodged on a parole detainer.
RHINO was assisted by the Livingston and Washtenaw Narcotics Enforcement Team (LAWNET), the MSP First District Hometown Security Team, the MSP-Monroe Post, MSP K-9s Taeff and Schrieber and the Adrian Police Department.
