ADRIAN — The Community Action Agency’s Women, Infants and Children program will host Rooting for You: Breastfeeding, A Community Celebration on Friday, August 7.
The event will be held at Poplar Pavilion in Island Park in Adrian.
The free event runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1090 N. Broad St. and celebrates World Breastfeeding Month while offering support and resources for new and expecting families.
Activities include breastfeeding education, testimonials, community resources, food and giveaways. Organizers also invite mothers and babies to participate in a special group latch-on photo at 12:30 p.m.
