TIPTON — Hidden Lake Gardens will host the New World Orchids Expo June 20th and 21st from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day.
The two-day event is included with regular garden admission and free for Hidden Lake Gardens members. Visitors can explore orchid displays in the Tropical Dome featuring everything from dramatic blooms to delicate miniature varieties.
Orchid expert Dr. Kristen Uthus, owner of New World Orchids, will be on hand selling orchids and sharing cultivation tips.
On Saturday, June 20th at 1 p.m., Uthus will also present “Orchids 101: What They Are and How to Grow Them” in the Visitors Center, offering an introduction to orchid care and a question-and-answer session for beginners and plant enthusiasts.
