Adrian, MI – Domino’s in Adrian, Michigan, has announced it is electrifying pizza delivery. Brian Watson, Owner of the local Domino’s Pizza confirmed they are using new Domino’s-branded 2023 Chevy Bolt electric vehicles for pizza delivery.
“Domino’s is no stranger to leading the charge when it comes to pizza delivery,” said Watson. “The brand has a longstanding history with revolutionizing the pizza delivery space. Domino’s was the first to introduce pizza delivery in 1960. Using electric delivery cars make sense as vehicle technology continues to evolve. We’re beyond thrilled to offer electric delivery to customers and reduce our environmental impact, one delivery at a time.”
Watson told WLEN News that these new vehicles also help with the hiring of delivery drivers. He explained that he had a current employee who shared a vehicle with a sibling, so before the release of the new electric vehicles, his delivery driver was only able to work every other week. Now he has a steady schedule, which helps the employee, as well as the local Domino’s location with staffing.
