Adrian, MI – Lenawee County Prosecuting Attorney, Burke Castleberry, has announced his resignation from the position… effective November 1st of this year.
Castleberry’s office released the letter to WLEN News, which was dated September 21st, that said he was presented with an opportunity to re-enter private practice by joining Frederick Lucas in a new law firm that will be called ‘Lucas and Castleberry PLLC.’
Castleberry said that he is excited to explore this new career path, and is looking forward to meeting new people.
In the resignation letter, he said this community has embraced him and his family since they moved to his wife’s hometown after their service in the Navy. Castleberry said “Thank you for allowing me the honor to represent Lenawee County as your Prosecuting Attorney.”
Burke Castleberry has spent more than 15 years in the position… and his last day will be November 1st of this year.
