Adrian, MI – The Downtown Adrian Main Street DDA Board of Directors have announced that they will be applying for the Michigan Economic Development Corporation ‘Match on Main’ grant reimbursement program.

The Match on Main program serves as a tool to support new or expanding place-based businesses by providing up to $25,000 in funding to support eligible small businesses through an application submitted, administered and managed by the local unit of government, downtown development authority, or other downtown management or community development organization where the business is located.

The grant applications may be submitted to the Downtown Adrian Main Street DDA until October 21st at 5pm. The selection committee will then review and score the applicants locally. After the scoring and selecting the two finalists, the Downtown Adrian Main Street DDA has until October 28th to submit their application to the MEDC.

Additional business eligibility and grant requirements can be obtained on the City website under the community tab in the downtown Adrian section, or by contacting Jay Marks with the City of Adrian.
