Adrian, MI – Students from both Siena Heights University and Adrian College were honored by the Lenawee Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Committee.
SHU’s Shanterra Holmes, and AC’s Rayvin Webber were recognized by the group for their work in the community.
Holmes, a senior majoring in biology with a pre-med focus. She participates in Student Government, women’s lacrosse, and Club MED. She also is a McNair Scholar and a participant in the Student Support Services program.
In addition, she has volunteered at the Lenawee Humane Society, the Fishes and Loaves food pantry, the Adrian Dominican Sisters Permaculture Garden and the National Honor Society.
Webber is a biology major and biochemistry minor, and a native of St. Louis. While attending Adrian College, Webber is serving on the executive board of African American Leaders Promoting Higher Achievement, vice president of Campus Activities Network, Biology Club, Pre-Health Society, PRIDE, and Sisters that Empower Prevail and Succeed.
