Adrian, MI – Lenawee County visitors and residents are advised to avoid physical contact with the River Raisin beginning at the South Branch from the area of Broad Street near Island Park in Adrian, and continuing downstream to the Village of Deerfield until further notice.
The river was subject to discharge from the City of Adrian sewage collection and treatment system. The advisory does not apply to public or private drinking water supplies.
The advisory will be in effect until results from testing indicates the River Raisin quality is not impacted from the sewage discharge.
