Hudson, MI – In late March, the Hudson City Manager was placed on administrative leave and the Treasurer was let go as an investigation was started… and it is still ongoing.
Steven Hartsel was placed on leave on Saturday, April 24th, Mayor Carmel Camp confirmed with WLEN News. Camp said on Thursday that she would like to reassure that everything possible is being done to come to some closure on exactly what has happened, and that they are moving forward in how to “fix all this.” She also said that she stands behind the decisions made on April 24th and that progress is being made in the investigation. Mayor Camp also thanked the residents of Hudson for their patience and understanding.
In April, she told WLEN News that there is an active investigation, but could not comment on what…or who is involved… until it is complete.
Police Chief Weir is serving as acting city manager.
