Hudson, MI – The Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office Dive Team and the Michigan State Police Dive Team have recovered the body of Damion Moog, the 22 year old man who fell through the ice on Durfee Lake Friday night.
According to Sheriff’s deputies, 4 subjects walked out onto the ice to check if it was safe for ice fishing the next day. As they walked across the lake, all four subjects fell through a thin area of ice… three of them were able to get out.
First responders conducted a search and rescue effort, but Moog was not located after an hour and a half search Friday night.
22 year old Damion Moog was originally from Hudson.
