Adrian, MI – The Lenawee County Health Department and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services continue to update the public on COVID-19.
The LCHD reported 29 new cases on Wednesday, and 8 current hospitalizations. 94% of the total confirmed COVD-19 cases in Lenawee County are considered discontinued from isolation and improving, with 4% monitoring at home. The total death toll in Lenawee County has held at 117, with no additional deaths reported on Wednesday.
Statewide on Wednesday, the MDHHS reported that there were 1,245 new confirmed cases.
There were 9 new COVID-19 deaths reported statewide Wednesday, increasing the total in Michigan to 15,405.
The MDHHS reports that there have been 1,994,310 doses of COVID-19 vaccines administered in the state as of Tuesday, with 19,276 doses administered in Lenawee County.
