Adrian, MI – As of Wednesday, there have been more COVID-19 vaccines administered in Lenawee than there have been total confirmed cases of the virus in the county.
There have been 7,529 vaccines administered in Lenawee as of Tuesday… compared to 5,372 total confirmed cases as of Wednesday.
Statewide on Wednesday, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services reported that there were 1,681 new confirmed cases.
There were 6 new COVID-19 deaths reported statewide Wednesday. There have now been 14,411 total deaths from the virus.
The Lenawee County Health Department reported on Wednesday that there were 18 new cases, with 18 hospitalized, and zero additional deaths… holding the countywide total at 87.
85% of the total confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Lenawee County are considered discontinued from isolation and improving, with 13% of the total confirmed cases in Lenawee are monitoring at home.
