Tecumseh, MI – The Lenawee County Health Department has lifted the Health Advisory for residents, visitors, and their pets to avoid physical contact with the Globe Mill Pond in Tecumseh.
The advisory was issued on August 28th due to water testing conducted by the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy that detected elevated levels of toxins in the pond. This testing was done as part of an investigation into a potentially harmful algal bloom that was identified and reported to EGLE.
