Tecumseh, MI – TLC Community Credit Union, in partnership with Re-Tree Tecumseh, is looking for volunteers to plant 75 new trees in Tecumseh on two Saturday work sessions in October.
No planting experience is necessary. Volunteers are asked to wear closed-toe shoes, and to bring a shovel and/or garden rake and gloves if they have them. Meet in the parking lot of the AJ Smith Rec Center.
Re-Tree Tecumseh is a grassroots organization with a mission to plant trees on public property in the city. It is a 501(c)3 community project fund under the umbrella of the Lenawee Community Foundation.
Middle school age children and older are welcome to participate. Please wear a mask; social distancing will be observed.
