Onsted, MI – There is still time to get registered for the 8th annual ‘Drive of Remembrance’ on Friday at the Mill Sports and Events Center in Onsted.
Each year many Americans observe the anniversary of 9/11 by donating blood with the American Red Cross. The event in Onsted will take place from 10:30am to 6:30pm.
Everyone who comes to donate will receive a free Red Cross “Drive of Remembrance” T-shirt, while supplies last.
9/11 Day was launched in 2002 as an annual day of service to honor the victims and heroes of September 11th.
Donors are asked to schedule an appointment prior to arriving at the drive and are required to wear a face covering or mask while at the drive.
Simply download the American Red Cross Blood Donor App, visit RedCrossBlood.org, call 1-800-RED CROSS or enable the Blood Donor Skill on any Alexa Echo device to make an appointment or for more information.
