The Adrian Public Schools Board of Education Approved Return To School Roadmap

The Adrian Public Schools Board of Education approved the Return to School Roadmap on August 10, 2020 at their regularly scheduled meeting.

APS is currently in Phase 4 for the re-opening plan and the school day will not look similar to previous school days. Adjustments have been made to increase safety standards and screening measures for students and staff. The school day will be reduced. Which will also limit passing times taking place each day. To protect both students and staff, masks will be required for face-to-face instruction for all students that are medically able along with having temperatures taken at the start of each school day.

This procedure was also conducted with the understanding that in order to achieve social distancing within classrooms and schools they will need about 800 to 1000 students to attend virtually and not face-to-face. An online form is available at https://www.adrianmaples.org/back-to-school/
