Jackson College is offering students $2,000 for the fall semester from unused federal CARES Act funding, available in addition to other aid that students may receive.

In June, the College invited students to apply for emergency aid from the federal Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund, part of the Coronavirus Aid, Recovery, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. With money still available and the continuing challenges brought by the COVID-19 pandemic, College leadership decided to offer $2,000 payments for the fall semester.

Students may apply for these fall emergency assistance grants on the Jackson College website starting now. To be eligible, students must be enrolled at the College for the fall semester and be eligible for financial aid. Eligible students may apply one time per semester.
