Lenawee County, MI – Of the 370 total confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Lenawee County, 139 of them are monitoring at home as of Wednesday afternoon.

The Lenawee County Health Department reported that there was an increase of 5 total cases from Tuesday.

There are 215 people considered “discontinued from isolation and improving.”

Four people were in the hospital as of Wednesday. Twelve total deaths from COVID-19 have been reported in Lenawee County.

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services reported that statewide on Wednesday there were 657 new cases, and 2 deaths.

The statewide total death number is at 6,221 … and the total number of cases in Michigan is at 84,707. Over the weekend, the State reported 60,022 recoveries. A recovery is defined as the number of persons with a confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis who are alive 30 days post-onset (or referral date if onset is not available). The number of persons recovered on July 31, 2020 represents COVID-19 confirmed individuals with an onset date on or prior to July 1, 2020. If an individual dies from a COVID-related cause >30 days from onset/referral, they are removed from the number of persons recovered. These numbers are updated every Saturday.
