Lenawee County, MI – There have been nine additional confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Lenawee, bringing the countywide total to 191 as of Thursday afternoon.

The Lenawee County Health Department reports that this is the largest single day increase in COVID-19 cases in the county since the first case on March 24th.

Lenawee County has seen an increase in COVID-19 positive cases in the past two weeks, with 12 cases reported last week and 15 new cases so far this week. Many of these new cases are close contacts of a known COVID-19 positive individual.

35 of the confirmed COVID-19 cases are monitoring at home, 146 are considered “discontinued from isolation and improving,”

Four people were in the hospital as of this Thursday afternoon, and 6 people in Lenawee County have died from COVID-19.
