Adrian, MI — To provide another way to honor local graduates — and also to bring in a little extra income while the theater is shut down — the Croswell Opera House is offering space on its marquee for congratulatory messages.

The cost to place a message on the marquee is $75, and will stay in rotation for an entire week, Monday through Sunday. Each message will be shown at least once every five minutes, and the marquee will be lit at least 14 hours a day. The marquee is capable of displaying photos.

The Croswell has templates for most area high schools and colleges. Birthday and anniversary screens are also available.

“This isn’t something we normally do, but because we won’t have any shows for the next few months, it’s another way for the community to use this building,” said Erik Gable, the Croswell’s director of marketing and audience development.

The deadline for each week is noon the previous Friday.

For more information, go to croswell.org/marquee, email box office manager Abby Dotz at office@croswell.org, or call 517-264-7469 and leave a voicemail. The Croswell office is closed, but staff members are checking voicemail messages frequently.
