A pole barn attached to a main building of the old Water Plant on Merrick Street in the City of Adrian caught fire Monday afternoon.

He said that the pole barn is a total loss, but no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire was under investigation as of Monday afternoon.
The Adrian City Fire Department was assisted by Tecumseh City, Madison Township, Adrian Township, Palmyra Township, and Raisin Township fire departments.
The City of Adrian Police Department assisted with traffic control, and the Salvation Army was also on scene.
