SHU to Celebrate Black History Month with Variety of Events at Adrian Campus

ADRIAN, Mich. – Siena Heights University will celebrate Black History Month with a variety of activities and events on the Adrian campus.

Here are a few highlights of February events and activities:

The movie “Queen and Slim,” will be played at 7 p.m. Feb. 13 in Rueckert Auditorium
A gospel concert will be at 3 p.m. Feb. 15 in the McLaughlin Music Hall.
The movie “Harriet” will be shown at 7 p.m. Feb. 20 in Rueckert Auditorium.
Michigan State Rep. and Siena Heights graduate Leslie Love will speak at 7 p.m. Feb. 24 in Rueckert Auditorium as part of the Legacy Speaker Series.
The African dance group the Zuzu Acrobats will perform at 9 p.m. Feb. 24 in the Spencer Performing Arts Center.

The events are free and open to the community.
