White Castle Vice President to Visit Siena Heights University as Part of Legacy Speaker Series

ADRIAN, Mich. – White Castle Vice President Jamie Richardson will visit campus Nov. 21 as part of the Legacy Speaker Series at Siena Heights University.

As part of Siena Heights University’s “100 events for the 100th,” the SHU Alumni Relations and Career Services offices are co-hosting this new monthly series during the Centennial anniversary year. The series will feature alumni who give a TED talk-style lecture, presentation or interview to discuss their career trajectory and the impact of their Siena Heights degree and experiences. The anniversary theme for the year is “Legacy.”

Richardson, who graduated from Siena Heights in 1987 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, will share his experiences during his presentation at 7 p.m. in Rueckert Auditorium. A reception will follow the program.

As vice president of White Castle System, Inc., the Lenawee County native has responsibilities for communications, government affairs, shareholder relations, public relations and corporate philanthropy. He has played a key role on teams that have earned four Effie Awards – the highest industry recognition for advertising effectiveness.

In recent years, Richardson has led White Castle’s involvement in entertainment projects like “Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle,” “Undercover Boss” and “Impractical Jokers.” He has made over 50 national television appearances on behalf of White Castle, and is also frequently quoted in publications like the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Washington Post and Forbes.

In 2014, he was recognized as the National Restaurant Association’s Chain Restaurant “Advocate of the Year,” and in 2016, he was named the National Council of Chain Restaurants “Ambassador of the Year.”

The event is free and open to the community. For more information on 100th anniversary events, visit 100.sienaheights.edu.
