Given the heat and resulting concerns for the pets, the City of Tecumseh has decided to reconfigure the Pet Parade event this weekend.
Dress up your pet and join the fun at the 2019 ‘Harry Potter Theme’ event Saturday, July 20th from 9:15 – 10 am at the Corner of Pearl & Chicago Boulevard.
Instead of a 90-minute event, there will be a gathering of pets on the lawn of the Presbyterian Church that will only last 45 minutes and the pets will not leave the grass area as the pavement may be too hot.
Registration will start at 9:15…and judging will take place from then until 9:45am. The winners will be picked at 10am.
There will be plenty of water for both pets and people.
