A semi truck hauling a trailer full of manure rolled over near the intersection of Bent Oak Highway and Hunt Road Tuesday morning in Adrian Township… dumping its load.

The accident occurred during the 10am hour, which temporarily closed northbound Bent Oak. It was completely back open during the noon hour Tuesday.

Adrian Township Police Chief Gary Hanselman told WLEN News that the truck driver was traveling east on Hunt Road, attempting to turn northbound onto Bent Oak. He went on to say that the driver told him that another vehicle interfered with his path of travel… which caused him to swerve the other way onto Bent Oak, at which point, the truck driver’s rate of speed and force of gravity made it tip over.

Authorities, nor the driver, knew which direction the other vehicle was travelling. The driver sustained minor injuries and refused medical treatment on scene.
