The Hudson City Council recognized the State Champion Hudson High School Wrestling team at their meeting Tuesday night.
Both the team and Head Coach Scott Marry were given proclamations by Hudson Mayor Carmel Camp… and WLEN News was able to get comments from a couple of wrestlers and coach Marry.
Coach gave credit to his wrestlers, who make his job easier…
WLEN News then talked to Sophomore Caden Natale, who has been wrestling since he was four years old. He reflected on what the proclamation means to him… bringing the school and city together…
Senior wrestler Cameron Betzer told WLEN News that he learned how to be disciplined through Coach Marry’s program… which has won three consecutive state titles.
