Tim Hernandez began his radio career as a student working on Central
Michigan University’s college station WMHW.  After earning his degree in
2004, Tim moved to Adrian to take the News Director position for 103.9
WLEN, going to local meetings and events to cover all of Lenawee County.
Tim took a short break from WLEN to explore radio in Saginaw, Michigan and
even Phoenix, Arizona before coming back to where the temperature is cool
and the people are great.

Some of Tim’s favorites include vegetable gardening; recycling; the music of The Who, Jack Johnson, and Jackson 5; Enchiladas and his wife’s cooking - of course! Sweet Tarts & Nerds; and coffee… gotta have coffee!
