OF CHRISTMAS CONTEST
WLEN Radio 2008 Rules
1.
There is no purchase necessary to enter.
2.
You must be 18 years old or older to enter
and play.
3.
There are two ways to register. Be the
correct numbered caller through at 517-263-4000 and
correctly answer the trivia question. You can
register this way once. You may also register at
any or all of our live “Gifts of Christmas”
broadcast locations. You can receive one official
entry form, and if you have a WLEN Key Chain you can
receive two official entry forms at EVERY Gifts of
Christmas live broadcast.
4.
Employees of WLEN Radio, and their immediate
families are not eligible to play or win. Employees
of major sponsors and their immediate families are
not eligible to play or win.
5.
You must present a valid ID to redeem any
prizes, and you must present your driver’s license
and social security card to redeem the grand
prizes.
6.
One entry form per person per live broadcast,
unless you have a WLEN Radio key chain, which
qualifies you for 2 entry forms per live broadcast.
You must be listening to WLEN Radio 103.9fm, Adrian,
Michigan, on December 18, 2008. We will randomly
draw 11 names from the registered names. If we
announce your name, you have 10 minutes and 39
seconds to call the radio station at
517-263-4000. In the event one of the eleven
people doesn’t call in 10 minutes and 39 seconds,
additional names will be drawn until we have our
eleven winners.
7.
WLEN reserves the right to disqualify any
person they feel are in violation of the rules.
WLEN has the final decision on rules, winners and
prizes. WLEN Radio owns all contest entries. The
successful eleven people (or their personal
representative) must be present at an event on
Friday December 19th for the prize
drawing. Time and location to be determined and
communicated with eligible contestants.
8.
All eligible persons are eligible to win one
prize at each broadcast location if they are given
away.
9.
All prizes, including the grand prizes must
be picked up within 30 days of winning, or they will
be forfeited.
10.
WLEN Radio is not responsible for phone
problems during registration for the contest, nor
are they responsible for any injury getting to and
from the live remote broadcasts.
Grand Prize: Eleven grand prizes will be
awarded. A 5-day, 4-night Getaway from Choose Discount Travel
(hotel accommodations only, not including
airfare), $1039 to Level One Pools and Spas,
$1039 to Morley’s Floor Coverings, $1039 to Well’s
Floor Coverings (Materials only, no labor), $1039
gem from Hacker Jewelers, $1039 in house cleaning
from Shelly’s Cleaning, $1039 to Budget Blinds,
Annual Family Membership to YMCA, $1039 in auto
service from Underwood, Chevrolet, Pontiac, Buick,
$1039 in cosmetic dentistry from Brilliant Smiles
Dental, $1000 to Culver’s of Adrian.
Winner agrees to accept the prize as is. Winner is
responsible for any tax on prizes, including the
grand prize. Prize value is retail price and not
sale price. Prizes are not redeemable for cash.
11.
WLEN Radio reserves the right to increase the
number of potential eligible contestants at any time
during the contest.
12.
By entering the contest, all contestants
agree to abide by all decision and rules and to hold
harmless WLEN Radio, Lenawee Broadcasting Company,
it’s subsidiaries, stock holders and employees and
those of all sponsors.
13.
People have been injured or even died
entering contests. By entering this contest,
contestant agrees that they understand that and
agree to participate anyway. Within that agreement,
they agree to #12 above
14.
11 successful contestants or a personal
representative must be present at the award event on
Friday December 19th or they take the
risk of forfeiting their prize. Decisions of WLEN
Radio personnel with regard to prize forfeiture for
not showing up is at the sole discretion of WLEN
15.
WLEN reserves the right to amend the rules after the
contest starts to clear up any human error in
writing the rules.
