At approximately 7a.m. Thursday morning, during the high school/middle school bus route, a Madison School District school bus was involved in an accident at the intersection of Michigan Avenue and McKenzie Street. The accident involved an adult pedestrian who, as of Thursday morning, appeared to be doing well.
In an email to WLEN News, Madison School District Superintendent Ryan Rowe said that at the time of the accident there were 30 high school and middle school students on the school bus. Students on the bus were transferred to another bus and met by administrators and counselors as they arrived to campus. The City of Adrian Police Department is investigating the accident.
