There will be two Drug Take Back Day locations on Saturday, October 27th. One of them will be from 10am-2pm at ProMedica Bixby Hospital by using the Grace Christman Entrance. At this location you can bring prescription, over the counter, and pet medications. Sharps liquids, solids, ointments, and inhalers will be accepted as well. Leave medications in their original containers, remove or mark out personal information. This event is made possible by ProMedica, Lenawee Community Mental Health Authority, the Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office, and Lenawee Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition.

The second Take Back Day location is at the Clinton Police Department. The University of Michigan and Village of Clinton Police Department are combining efforts again to host a Medication Take Back Event on Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 10:00 AM- 2:00 PM at the Clinton Police Department.

Individuals in Clinton and the surrounding areas will take this opportunity to clean out their medicine cabinets and dispose of them at our upcoming event. Less access children and teens have to these medications the better and disposing of them at events such as this instead of flushing them in the toilet will also help prevent water pollution.
