The Michigan State Police Jackson Post is seeking the public’s help in locating and identifying the suspect involved in a hit and run accident involving a State Police Vehicle.
On Thursday, August 9, 2018, at approximately 9:30 p.m. troopers from the Michigan State Police Jackson Post were on a traffic stop on Cooper St. near Porter St. in the city of Jackson, when their police vehicle was struck by a white Jeep Grand Cherokee.
The suspect vehicle failed to stop and fled the scene. Troopers were outside of their patrol car when it was struck and were not injured during the incident.
