At approximately 3:54pm on August 7th, 2018 the Tecumseh Police Department was dispatched to a possible home invasion in progress at a residence on Huron St. in the City of Tecumseh. The initial officer on scene reported one male running southbound and one male with a handgun. The officer further reported that the handgun was dropped and the second male took off running eastbound.
The initial officer reported that he had an additional male and two females detained. After a search of the area both males, one adult and one juvenile, were taken into custody. The adult male was then lodged at the Lenawee County Jail on probation related offenses and the juvenile was lodged at the Maurice Spear Campus.
The investigation is ongoing and additional charges may be sought as the investigation continues. The Department was assisted by Deputies from the Lenawee County Sheriff’s Department and Officers from the Raisin Township Police Department.
