“Midnight in Paris” Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Michigan Honors Night

Several individuals and employers were recognized for their outstanding accomplishments at the Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Michigan 2018 Honors Night at the Adrian College Tobias Center Thursday, May 17th.  Hunter Brooks was honored in memoriam.

Ellie Powell won the Recognition of Excellence award; Denise Stutzman was the customer service award winner; Briyanna DeLine was the Adrian student of the year; Lauren Linder was the Monroe student of the year;  Jonathan Moore won the participant of the year award; Matthew Strimple was the Participant of the year in Monroe.

Cassidy Ga won the recognition of excellence award; Ronda Jewell won the customer service award; Angie Johnson was recognized as the Employee of the year.

Organizations recognized were the Lenawee Intermediate School District and Adrian College Ritchie Dining Hall and Sodexo.

A dance routine, performed by April Wenzel, rocked the house! A song titled “The Way We Were” was performed by Marcus Pickens, and dedicated to Hunter Brooks. Marie Cherry showcased her skills by playing “Allegretto” on the flute. The final performance of the evening was Wade Ondrovick, showing off on the guitar with the playing of “The City of New Orleans.” 

As Goodwill is a provider of services in Lenawee, Monroe and Washtenaw, they are dedicated to helping persons with disabilities and other barriers maximize their potential. Working together with the community, Goodwill strives to help people gain confidence while developing their abilities so they can chart a course for themselves that results in a lasting positive impact on their lives.
